Loongana is inland on the North West of Tasmania. It is approx. 64Km from Devonport, which is our closest port of entry to the state. There is an airport, ferry terminal for the Spirit of Tasmania and Red Line bus depot. Devonport has an extensive shopping centre.
There are no shops in the vicinity of Loongana. If you are planning to cater for yourself you need to stock up with provision somewhere on route. If approaching from the south via Cradle Mt. the small hamlet of Wilmot is the closest country general store.
